Science Ideas and Lessons
Primary:
Using senses, primary investigates sand and water, moving things, living things and the world.
Exploring water with our Senses is a few lessons I used in the primary class. However, there is a part where you match these images to sound clips. I burnt many of the sound clips off my computer's clip art program, which had various water sounds.
Sinking and Floating is another lesson involved in this unit. Here are the work sheets the primaries filled out and when deciding whether is sank or floated (there are 2 sheets). As a modification, students can practice writing yes on in the squares that floated and no in all the squares that sank. Students with difficulties may use checks or "X"s. * Note: there are 2 boxes on the work sheet because students first make predictions.

Grade 4 Light Ideas:
Light can be bent. There are various ways to illustrate how light bends and practical every day applications proving why this is useful.
This experiment can help us to explain how our eyes work but also how theaters project images.

Grade 6 Electricity Ideas:
Engineering Interact is, as the name suggests, an interactive source for looking at circuits. It provides a basic understanding of how circuits work and runs through some test simulations as well. This is perfect for students just being introduced to electricity. http://www.engineeringinteract.org/resources/siliconspies/flash/concepts/simplecircuits.htm
